I have a mac mini and a mac book pro. (New to the mac stuff as of about 8 months.... .NET guy moving to the darkside). The folder contained two files: a hidden file called ".com.apple.timemachine.supported" (which had no contents... I credited and reference you and this page. Now in Time Machine it continuously says "preparing backup" until it errors out. It seemed to think that the SparseBundle file was still in use, despite the fact it was a fresh install and it was the very first backup! Turn's out it's quite a Check This Out Is there an answer?

I am finding multiple password entries for the same server, whether it's Mail, or my other computers, or com.apple.facetime, but they all contain the same password.
